Sega’s Virtual-On series have always been my favorite video games. Starting out as some innovative arcade games, the series later became worthy ports on the Saturn, PC and Dreamcast (Virtual-On Marz for PS2, however, was pretty crappy.. can’t win them all, doh). Anyhoo, in celebration of the series’ 10th Anniversary, Sega will hold its first Virtual-On tournament in three years. Players can compete in pairs in the team game Virtual-On Force or go solo in probably the best of the series Virtual-On: Oratorio Tangram.

Unfortunately, this is only being held in Japan - since the fanbase is stronger there. If you’d like to help sponsor me on a trip to the tournament, let me know. I would totally start a “Virtual-On Fund.”
