Target sole advertiser in The New Yorker

This week’s issue of The New Yorker (August 22nd) is entirely sponsored by the Target corporation. Target collaborated with 24 established illustrators — from Milton Glaser to James Jean — to create the ads, all having a NYC theme and limited to 3 colors (black, white and red). Pretty neat project if I do say so myself.
Picked up a copy of it today, and I really enjoy it. The ads by Bill Brown and James Jean (probably my favorite illustrator these days — his comic book covers are amazing) are my favorites. ![]()
