About Jer
I am Jeremy Canceko… Call me Jer.
After an interesting decade of boarding school, college, snow and other East Coast wackiness, I have finally made my way back home to California.
I am a Communication Designer who likes to explore the many sides of visual design. And to spice things up, I’ve been getting into some illustration and sequential art.
One of my bigger projects these days is a new startup called Shelfworthy.com with my good pals Chris Drackett and Peter Rivera-Pierola. We are currently in beta. Good times.
Cup-O-Robots
Formerly Canceko.com, Cup-O-Robots is the current home for my main online portfolio as well as a hub for all my other shenanigans. And, of course, all this is constantly under construction, so bear with me! Yay!
Spare Bots
I also have a sister site called Spare Bots, which is mainly a sketch-blog showcasing illustrations, sketches, photography, process work, and more personal projects– including some desktop art and icon packs. It’s 100% Jer-ness.
Résumé
In case you are of the curious type, my résumé is here (PDF).
It is set in DIN 1451 and FF Scala.
It is also quite tasty if you were to eat it. (Please don’t eat it.)
What else?
Hmm… Some of my interests include:
Reading, video games, watching sports, film trivia, tennis, running, snowboarding.
Haruki Murakami novels.
Brian K. Vaughan comic books.
GAINAX and Pixar animation.
Shunji Iwai films.
And going to diners. Mmm.
