These were my entries for a t-shirt design contest held by Joystiq, a popular video game weblog. I came up with these two ideas, though a bit risky concerning the use of classic video game IP. I loved the idea of having a sense of nostalgia and using gaming icons like the characters and Nintendo’s D-pad design. Nonetheless, I enjoyed working on these and hope they see the light day in some form or another!
